AI-powered TBI and Hemorrhage diagnostic
Kipoly’s head CT-scan algorithms, which is called ATAR TBI are based on deep neural networks trained on hundreds of thousands of head CT scans and are continuously being optimized while in practice. Atar is integrated into RadSuite and can be also directly connected with the radiology workflow through the existing PACS and worklist.
In daily practice, the worklists in a radiology department can prove complex to manage, especially in tele-radiology settings or imaging centers with high scan volume. On one hand, ‘STAT’ designations that are assigned to the CT scan don’t always reflect the true degree of urgency. On the other hand, TBI and hemorrhage cases are mostly very time-sensitive and data-intensive, the ATAR TBI other than prioritizing patients in critical helps reducing diagnosis time by classifying, localizing, and quantifying the complication by generating a standard report.
ATAR TBI automatically analyses each study after being taken and prioritize as well as labeling the patient. The software provides information about bleed subtypes and localizes the target abnormalities to facilitate review. This system is offered with a reporting assistance mode that pre-populates radiologist templates with this information. The radiologist reviews the generated report and makes adjustments and finalizes the report. The report will be documented in patients’ health records and can be referred to a specialist for further treatment.
